We have state of the art surgical facilities to provide a sterile, infection-free environment for your pet to receive treatment and recover in.

We are part of a voluntary accreditation scheme run by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) which means are premises and protocols are regularly inspected to ensure they meet the highest standards.

Patients undergoing a procedure or general anaesthetic are appointed a dedicated veterinary surgeon and surgical nurse who will care for your pet throughout the day. Our trained staff will monitor your pet continuously throughout their anaesthetic and recovery period.

We use modern monitoring equipment during your pet’s procedure, and specialist veterinary equipment to keep them comfortable and warm throughout their stay. Our kennels are large, warm and well-padded to ensure even the most pampered pooches are comfortable during their stay!

Despite taking every precaution, general anaesthesia and surgery can always have risks, both during the procedure and in the recovery period. Prior to any surgical procedure we will always discuss the risks with you, and we will obtain written, informed consent prior to any procedure and give you accurate estimates prior to any treatment.

Pre-anaesthetic blood testing

We offer all patients pre-anaesthetic blood testing to assess your pet’s kidneys and liver and other organs are working as they should before any procedure. This can be carried out rapidly in our in-house laboratory.

Pain relief

All patients receive the best pain relief throughout their procedure and are always sent home with pain relief.
